Test cricket near it's end

There are currently 10 test playing nations and the countries which are not given status to play test cricket can play in shorter version of the game such as one day international or twenty-twenty international.If a country wants  to play test cricket then it must show good performance in shorter version of the game as mentioned by the icc. Test cricket is generally regarded as ultimate "test" of the batsman or bowlers skills and temperament.Test cricket
is played between 2 teams of 11 players each for 5 days.The game is devided into 3 sessions,first session normally starts at 9:30 a.m and ends at 5:00 pm ,the time of the test match can be extended by half hour if 90 overs are not completed in the day.

It is important that person involved in sports should make good living out of it, but when sole purpose of the sports become only monetary, things go worst. In recent days IPL is introduced which became world wide hit. Due to such a love for twenty-twenty cricket shown by people around the world,test cricket is often neglected these days. Due to such a neglection about test cricket , test cricket is in danger of loosing it's status. This form of cricket is always ragarded as best version to test players capabilities , but due such a time consuming process it is not being viewed by majority of people. ICC is trying to make test cricket interesting by reducing it to 3 or 4 day game.  Experienced players of the sport regard test cricket as the ultimate sports , but if people are not willing to watch it then test cricket should be made little more interesting by introducing new methods to run it.

PLAYERS VIEW ABOUT TEST CRICKET: Kevin pieterson cricketer of england cricket team predicts death of test cricket in next 10 years.He says-"A few months ago I was so clear in my thoughts that nothing would affect Tests, but then you see what certain players are saying in the media and what kind of players are retiring to continue with the Twenty20 format as well as the riches of Twenty20 cricket".In response to the statement made by kevin pieterson, Andrew strauss england captain said "i think test cricket is going to be around for a long time to come.i would be surprised if engalnd and australia arent plaing an ashes series in 20 years.that would be massive surprise.Indian cricketer sachin tendulkar feels that test cricket should be played and must be given highest status in all forms of cricket.Cricketers such as brian lara,sanath jaisurya,steve waugh supports test cricket and want this form of cricket to go forever.
